I would like to say right off the bat that i am HONORED to be a part of the Ebid community and am looking foward to providing you with professional service and quality merchandise ( MOSTLY TOYS / COLLECTABLES ) I found out about Ebid through Google research ,,, I am a seasoned seller started in the Toys business in my home town of Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn New York USA ,,,, I eventually moved to EBAY and what a DISGRACEFUL HORRIBLE example for a professional auction site ,,, I have simply had it with their RUDE ARROGANT IGNORRANT business tactics ! So, Here i am to offer you my seller services and PLEASE do help me get started as i will start to list items promptly ,,,, I am excited to make this Holiday Season A Happy One ,,, Please do feel free to email me with any inquiries you may have and i will get back to you the same day as i do this for a living with 10 years plus expierence !

Welcome, tony. What you have written is very nice. Put it on your 'about me' page, then people can read who the seller is. Here you might want to add a link to your listings so you are easier to find for us nosey lot

Hi and, welcome to eBid, OK to help you get started add a signature link to your posts so us nosey lot have an easy

link to your items whilst reading the forums, read this thread http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=100959 then fill in some info on Your About Me Page so people know about you as a seller. Have a look at mine so you can see the
sort of thing you can do. Perhaps buy a few things to kickstart your feedback over here, always looks better than a
zero, ( I have some nice cheap prints ) have a look at my listings to see how I dealt with the zero feedback problem
when I started.

Then email all YOUR (not Greedbay's they are a venue, they keep telling us) customers, and tell them where you are,
give them a link to your listings. Grab the records while you can and from paypal records as well. That should keep you
busy for a bit, and shout if you need a hand. Additional body parts incur a small fee Oh and finally read the forums
there is a lot of useful information on here.

Yet another HUGE WELCOME to all Newbies to eBid - especially all those who have joined us here from the 'dark side' through despair, or some other reason. eBid IS an effective selling tool, an easy to use site and a very friendly one. It does require some effort on the part of Sellers to promote themselves and our Forums offer numerous suggestions for achieving that.
Newbies, especially Buyers only, should make a serious effort to leave their feedback on successful transactions, to build up their own status and show courtesy and their willingness to become integrated into the eBid Community.
First on your list should be to prepare an About Me page - tell us about you, your items, your t&cs, etc. to show your intention towards transparency and instill confidence in other members to deal with you. Best of luck in your endeavours - and luck does sometimes come into the equation through selling the right items at the right time at the right price!

Hi, I'm another 'newbie' who has come over from 'that other site'.
where I had a user name similar to the one you see displayed here,
many hundreds in 'feedback' ... and not a single 'neg'.

I'm really enjoying the 'E-Bid experience'

It's easier to navigate and the rules are not so arbitrary.
In fact the whole atmosphere is more laid back and at my age that's something to be appreciated and enjoyed.

A Londoner by birth and a Scot by 'adoption', there's a passion for most things Scottish in my everyday life and a respect for all things WYSIWYG instigating my move to E-Bid...

Most of the clothes I'd like to sell here will be second hand, with the occasional new item for 'added interest'.

There should mostly be size 12 - 16 as that is what I wear ..
The range of sizes is down to that fact that I wear anything I like and that I think fits me, not what some High Street store says I Should wear nor what they say Should fit me!

My partner and myself are retired now so I'm here to 'kick back' and make myself some 'pocket money'.
