Thumbs up Thank You for the warm welcome

Thank You for the Warm Welcome!!
I sold on eBay since 1998. I had 100% feedback over the last year but had some slow shipping issues do to some family illness and I was kicked off - forever! No questions asked. I was discouraged with eBay anyway, all the normal reasons, high fees, negative feedback issues, forced postage issues...on and on. It was getting harder to make money as they continued to chip away at any profits I made. At first I was very upset but the more I thought about it and looked around I think they have done me a favor. I will spread the work high and low about how rotten they are and how nice it seems here. I think the people running eBay feel they are too big to fail, NO ONE is too big to fall and I think it may catch up with them. I for one will not be crying. I did a lot of looking before I settled on eBid and it looks like a great place to do business. I will promote eBid and sure hope they can replace a fallen giant.

When an auction ends you can click 'relist'You also have the option when listing to automatically relist up to 10 times or the item sells. There is something in the pipeline like turbo lister but as I am not bothered haven't taken a great deal of notice. You could try this designed by a fellow member

Hi to the newcomers, welcome to eBid, OK to help you get started add a signature link to your posts so us nosey lot have an easy link to your items whilst reading the forums, read this thread http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=100959 then fill in some info on Your About Me Page so people know about you as a seller. Have a look at mine so you can see the sort of thing you can do. Perhaps buy a few things to kickstart your feedback over here, always looks better than a zero, ( I have some nice cheap prints ) have a look at my listings to see how I dealt with the zero feedback problem when I started.

Then email all YOUR (not Greedbay's they are a venue, they keep telling us) customers, and tell them where you are, give them a link to your listings. Grab the records while you can and from paypal records as well. That should keep you busy for a bit, and shout if you need a hand. Additional body parts incur a small fee Oh and finally read the forums there is a lot of useful information on here.

Default New to eBid from the US

    Hi all,

I just joined eBid tonight and have to say that I am really impressed with this site. I was getting prepared to do some listings on eBay then I noticed that they had did a lot of changes and fee increased. I wasn't happy with what all I was hearing on the forums over there either. That is what got me to do a search on Google and that is how I found eBid. I looked over several other auction sites, but I really liked what I saw here...so here I am. I am from the US. I am still learning my way around but I haven't been having any problems with finding what I need so far.
