Anyone else having a problem closing auctions?

I'm trying to close a few listings but even though it appears to take when I check the close box, they won't go away! I could try to delete them but didn't really want to do that yet in case I want to re-list them. Usually they show up at the top of all my items with a red "closed". What's up?

Just done some reposting and deleted the old adverts. The message came up that they had been deleted but when I went back in, to repost some more things, the ones I deleted were still sitting there! Something has got stuck somewhere.

Hope it's sorted soon otherwise with my memory I will end up reposting things twice!
