Well at least with it landing in water they can dry it out and use it again
I know pilots and cabin crew are highly trained on how to react in situations like this. But to put it all into practice when it does arise, just shows you how professional they really are. I think they all deserve a medal, especially the pilot....all the passengers owe their lives to this man. It makes such a refreshing change to hear some good news for once!

Some of the passengers interviewed said the pilot was a hero and saved their lives. He apparently put it in the river on purpose and did a fine job as it didn't explode or come apart and everyone got out. Even so bear in mind the terribly cold weather we are experiencing right now and some of these folks ended up in the water and had to be pulled out. It truly is amazing that everyone (the people anyway) survived!
