You have to take a little time out to read to. lol...Ease up a little..enjoy your books too. I just finished the Twilight Saga. Maybe not the greatest literature but, as fiction, it's caused quite a rush over her. I thoroughly enjoyed all 4 books. They were always [almost] sold out at the stores. I bought 2 of them online. I did look on eBid first....no one in the USA had them & the weight was so much I didn't want to buy from the UK [only 1 was listed ]. Hot sellers over here..

I'm now reading a very interesting history book called 'Keeping Their Place' - Domestic service in the country house by Pamela Sambrook. It's all about servants and maids from the 1600's through to early 1900's and it's the servants and maids themselves writing the book through letters. I'm finding it absolutely fascinating. They talk about not only their work, but their lodgings, food, routines, clothes, recreation and more. Highly recommended to anyone with even just a hint of interest.

I don't read much non-fiction, as I tend to put my reading time to "escapism" rather than instruction, but that sounds very interesting, thanks. I'll watch out for a copy.

Just finished Hold Tight - the latest Harlan Coben book. Wonderful as usual. Now I'm starting The Secret Life of Bees (which so many people have told me to read! so finally got to it) - gripping from the first few pages!

A sudden thought - do let me know if you list this when finished. Assuming it's not a current library book

Just getting towards the end of The Twelfth Card by Jeffery Deaver.

Good thriller - up to his usual standards.

    Really enjoy it
