Mentioning eBid on pheebay

Whenever I leave feedback on pheebay, I always include:

'credit to eBid'

With a sticker on the item the people wins, I am spreading the word and I have not yet had any feedback telling me off. Can I sggest everyone else mentions eBd when leaving feedback and this will spread the word free of charge with more feedback saying the same having more impact.

There's no way I'm going to make my feedback look as though I'm so confused I don't know which site I'm on, sorry. I do all the stickers and fliers and notes and what not, but not that.

I'm all for promoting eBid but I don't hold with plastering its name over a competitors site (even eB@y).

Regardless of what some may feel about eB@y they have the right to run their business as they wish.

An analogy I have used before:

If you owned and made your living from running a shop, would you like it if a competitor pasted posters on your shop window advising your customers to buy at their shop? I somehow doubt it.

Sorry but that is not what I would want to see on my feedback if I bought from you on another site and I definitely wouldn't buy from you again, there or here.

I would of course be delighted if it were a comment left for me on this site.

That is my opinion only - you must do what you think is best for you and your trading partners.

As much as feebay puts a bad taste in my mouth I have to admit they are doing a good job of promoting all my sites I have listed on my blog. I've even been pleasantly surprised by a few comments even though I'm blatantly advertising my stores elsewhere. I do not have one item for sale over there.
Also picked a freelance job today to build someone a site. Kinda sweet. Actually the requester is also. Might build more sites and register them for people. I think lots of people would like a shiny page but don't have the time for it.

Leaving feedback like that could get you indefinately suspended from pheebay too if a competing seller noticed and reported it...

I got suspended from feebay forums for mentioning eBid too often!

I also got 'slaps' for talking about 'an alternative e-auction site' and 'the auction site without the fees' and even 'that other site' !!

It all depends if other posters are feeling in a button-pushing mood, really!
