USPS Price Increases Effective Monday, May 11, 2009

Do you have accounts with your carriers, is it an option?
I have just spent a week checking out all the prices and gone back to my courier with the other rates available and got a better deal from them, will save me about 20p per kilogram which can be quite a saving for me. I have also negotiated a small package rate which will beat parcel force hands down and its next day, tracked delivery.

No, I don't have an account with USPS as I don't ship that much.

f you are a regular shipper, even though not in vast numbers it might still be worth checking it out, I dont know of the company you mention myself, as I only sell over here, but it does strike me that at the moment the carrier companies are fighting and will bend over to keep their loyal customers, no matter how small.

At least I can still use my 17 cent stamps. Have to stock up on the little ones, I've still got some 41 cents to use up, plus a full roll of 42 cents.

I'm sure glad we switched most of our heavy items to calculated postage. It was a lot of work to change them, but now it is saving us soooo much work!
