sorry to sound daft - but... (here I go again with the dull questions that'll get me shot in the foot cos I should already know) ... what is Flickr? I've seen it mentioned on the forums before, but never paid it too much attention.

Flickr is a photo site - with groups - so you join (yahoo id is what you need), add photos, tag them and then join groups and add your photos, comment on other people's photos and generally interact.

without the auctions! and with millions of photos - to give you some idea, I live in a small town which no-one has ever heard of - 9000 people - a Flickr search produced 292 results, none of them mine!

No, it has far more members and activity, so a better chance of exposure. In here (this forum) the only people who get to hear about ebid is the other sellers who post here, and we already know about ebid.

Flickr is HUGE, so there are more people there to reach out to with the ebid message.
