Thread: YDC60 - Pendlebury Childrens Hospital - Tally Sheet

    "Pendlebury Children's Hospital"

    Hi every one.

Well Yorkie dropped me a corker with this when he asked if he could nominate the childrens hospital for this months charity auction.

As you all know, the chosen charity for this month was

    "Pendlebury Childrens Hospital".

This hospital built in Queen Victoria's time on the throne of England is world renowned for what it has done to help our kids.

Yorkie asked me if he could propose this charity because my grandson who is only 2 years old had to have major surgery on one of his lungs.

Well he had his surgery and after 8 hours in the operating theature he came through.

He is now fully recovered and is now the proverbial pain in the bum.

He is climbing over us like a nest of rats.

My grandson will make the presentation of the the final cheque and hopefully we will make a video of the presentation and post it for all to see.

    Thanks again everyone.

Please bear with me if I cannot update every few hours because we have lost most of our electrical power at home.

    Electricians are due in tomorrow.

A big thumbs up to you all.

    Hi Dan!
Glad to hear your grandson is feeling well.

This was the first YDC that I participated in, and I look forward to participating in more.

All the best to you and your family!

Apologies if this info has already been put somewhere else and I've missed it but could someone let me know what address I need to send the payment too?

Is a paypal personal/gift payment to DanTheMan the way to go?

    I just pm'd Dan,

I paid it as a gift, though not sure if that is totally correct.

Cheryl, that's very helpful of you, but did Dan say it was okay - posting somebody's email address to a public forum can have spam implications.

... and as if by magic, it was gone.
