What happened to thread about PowersellersElite

Hi all,
just wondering what happened to the thread from PowersellersElite who was saying people could add their details to the site the guy's name was Joseph Scampo someone e mailed their details to them and then someone said it looked suspicious and someone said they were going to report it to Gazza, I also e mailed them my details before reading about it being a possible scam now its gone from here so whats happened??? I got an e mail back from Joseph Scampo at Powersellerselite which is as follows :

Dear customer, we are glad to inform you that your store will be
on line within 48 hours.

so is it genuine or a scam??????? , any response to this would be good, and if you are checking them out Gazza maybe this will help.

Hi Paully,

Just after I posted my last message on the thread mentioning that I would refer it to G&M, I sent them a message. The thread was still here at about 7 this morning; so I can only assume that Gazza and Mark agreed with the assessment of myself and others that it may be a scam and have deleted it.

This does not necessarilly mean it was a scam just that it looked suspicious, and they tend to act on things which may be detrimental to this site.

What made me suspicious is that an Italian company wanted payment in American currency. Why would they do this? To use the currency they would have to incur charges to change to Euros. Also I did a google search, most newly launched organisations publicise what they are doing. Therefore a search would bring up links to newspapers, or atleast relevant websites (in this case PSU and Pheebay). With Powersellers elite the only linkd that came up were for their own site.

Just a quick update on this really, like huddylion above i too had a reply from powersellerselite and this is a copy of that e mail (less URL KimboSorry not a dig) anyway here it is:

I noticed on ebid forum that you were not sure about advertise on our site,
so if you want us to remove your advertise you just have to ask and we remove
it immediately, we don't force anybody.

I attach you the answer i posted on ebid forum to explain averything, it was
canceled by the moderator i wonder why:

Ok let's start from the beginning:

I have removed all URL links but if anyone wants it message me and you can have it ok, I think that this is genuine and that people have miss judged this guy wrongly, I think he should be given the same chance as anyone else here, just my thoughts you don't have to listen or agree with me thats your choice. If you want to see mine and huddylions sites advertised you can go to powersellerselite site click on home page then click on the globe and the adverts come up on that page.
