    Default Put off listing...

I was about to start listing on Ebid. I have a large collection of vintage and retro games consoles and software that i was going to get rid of.

The reason "was" is because as soon as i look in the video gaming section i am confronted by listing after listing of copied/illegal games, or devices to circurmvent games copy protection.

I thought Ebid was going to be like the good old ebay was, but it seems the worst sort of ebayers have jumped in here first.

P.S. I reported one of the many listings and fair play to Ebid, it was removed. However the seller had many listings with similar copied games and only the 1 was removed, all others remain.

Report a couple more and add a comment that the seller needs to be looked at.

I probably would have if there hadn't been so many other sellers doing similar things.

I know the right thing to do is report them all, but i'm not going to spend a few hours of my time doing it i'm afraid.

What type of listing are these: countdown or RTS?

If thery are run untill sold, if you put yours on a countdown auction then they will be above the tat. Then you can just work your way through reporting a few at a time

Its a very good idea to report the seller as well as the listing - because we can only have one ID on here - which makes it inconvenient for them to start up again.

If you are sure they are dodgy, it is in everyones interest to report them, it is worth the effort in the long run. Rip-off merchants a scammers need to be stopped before they get a foothold, please report as many as you can.

Many sellers would NOT list on a site where scammers are in abundance in the sellers category.
It is not now a matter of Listing.. it is getting rid of scam auctions first, before listing.
