The sooner Royal Mails monopoly is broken the better.Not only is post in this country expensive but Royal Mail are pretty good at losing parcels as well.
For those like myself who use a business post system for small parcels they are now introducing minimum charges and charges for paying a docket.Someone has to pay these and like the ebay fee hikes its the customer,the person who pays for the stuff.
I am amazed at the low prices foreign sellers are charged for sending stuff to me,when I send tools anywhere outside the UK it is far more expensive that it should be and domestic is hardly a bargain either.These charges of course impact on the big sellers far less,just like ebay again.
Like ebay they might find people will look elsewhere,certainly I wouldn't worry if Royal Mail are broken up and sold.
It would serve them right.

Don't know what you have done there as the key is above the prices, with PK = Packet size
SPD = Special delivery
