I sell clean, pressed and folded quality pre-owned clothing.

Now I see there is a prohibition against used clothing, but it seems to me that it is aimed at dirty unwashed clothing.

I want to sign up for Platinum and sell my clothing, but I don't want to waste a hundred dollars if I can't sell used clothing.


Typical Listing

Levi 545 Jeans, Mens, Like New 48 x 30 , 5 pocket jeans. Big Man, No rips tears or stains. Cleaned, pressed and folded No wear on the cuffs $6.99 plus $5.00 shipping.

I get thousands of pieces like this a year.


Any help on whether I could sell these on ebid would be appreciated. Ebay of course allows this type of sale

I would think the majority of people who start selling on online auctions do so to downsize their wardrobes, kids toys etc.I have my old clothes for sale,obviously they are listed with the used description rather than new.That in itself doesn't contravene the listing rules.
The main reason IMHO is to debar any,shall we say,fetishists who have a liking for womens(or mens) soiled underwear.

Hi,
I am confused.
Are there new listing rules about selling used washed clothing?.
I sell my kids clothing, but its clean and in good order.
I was under the impression you cannot sell second hand under wear & swimwear on here.On feebay you cant sell washable used nappies but im unsure of the policy on here.I thought it was ok to sell second hand clothing as long as its clean and in good condition.
Confused ...... but this is qute normal for me !!!.

Used washed clothing is allowed, dirty unwashed clothing isn't.

I am bumping this thread in case there has been a recent change.
Can someone clarify, please?
Under the banned items, this is one of them:
"Clothing advertised as used, dirty, soiled, or unwashed".
Reason I am asking is that I got a couple of bits that have been worn only once or twice and am not sure if I am allowed to list them or not.
