Sue, good footwear is essential if you are on your feet all day, or night (says she who wore 4" stilettos behind the bar min 12 hours a day, seven days a week)
It took a very long time to get my feet accustomed to such long hours, and would have given anything to wear a nice comfy pair of shoes ... but, who wants to see a landlady (bartender) in slippers? They would have looked silly with a mini-skirt ..lol!
Seriously though, invest in a really good pair of comfy shoes, you'll be glad you did!
All the best pet, and I sure hope that you will greatly enjoy watching the emergence of the redtails.

LOL Trish, 4 inch heels! I'd fall flat on my face in those, the highest heels I ever wore were 2" at my old job and I towered over too many of the men so went back to flats, (no, I'm not an Amazon, the guys were just unbelievably short, most my height or shorter). I love my old moccasins, but they're just too worn out for the job, will have to find some better footwear soon.

Sue glad the work is going well, I agree with Trish about the shoes, (got that tee shirt too Trish! Lol ouch, memories of bowls of cool water at the end of each shift!) Now I wear even higher ones, the entertainment business also requires one to make an effort sometimes, though I diversify too, according to place or mood, could be killer heels or some cool and comfortable casual trainers and anything in between, that said I also used to be a go go dancer as some of you know, and danced with high heels on a rocket! THAT was a challenge. There was a small stage area in the rocket and I gave it so much welly sometimes the rocket used to rock haha those were the days
I never fell out though, always managed to stay upright too...

Wow, Sal, you, too, huh? I must be the only stumble down here, oh well, grace was never my strong suit. Just as well I became a librarian and a bakery worker then. Oh and that bf has 2 left feet, so no dancing here, at least not the public kind.
