    Hi Blue,

If you put diecast toys into a google search it does bring up a load of ebid sellers including me. I can only assume that diecast model translates in Gooooogleese to toys.

Before I posted my reply I did google both the suggestions I made. There were no ebid listings on either google web or google shopping in the first two pages.I've just redone it & still the same.

Here's the links to the web search, just click the shopping link to change.

    collectors diecast toys

    diecast toys

I've just had a thought, how often do you clear your cookies & browser history?
Google, being the nosey ba***rds they are, remember your history & may have based your search on your history.

    Hi Blue,

I clear my browser and cookies every couple of days. I cleared them this morning and my search that I mentioned above was my only search on Google today.
The ebid results were not on the first page, I think it may have been page 3 or 4.

So maybe if you alter your titles here you could get on the first page & pick up the non collector buyers!

Set yourself up a google+ profile and join all the dicast, hotwheels, corgie, etc communities and share your listings to them ( dont spam them too much, one per community a day ). Set up a google+ page for your store a well. All google+ posts get indexed on google straight away so there is another advert for you.
Personally if I was to start collecting something, I would be joining one of these to learn more about them and be asking where best to buy them. As stated before not many people if any were posting listings from here or elsewhere to the ones I looked at for you even though they both had thousands of members, so the market is all yours!

I would ask ebid to make it easier for new buyers to sign up here, as it is they seem to have to jump through hoops to register to buy something.

    Tha'ts a good idea.

But it may pay to start a new thread in the features forum so that ebid may notice it and others can comment on your idea.

i think that there's no harm and absolutely nothing to lose by still listing those die cast models on Ebid. I would, of course use run until sold rather than auto repost option. Whether the listings climb to the top of the Ebid search is in my mind a moot point, but of more relevance is where they feature in Google's search.
Clearly you're looking for a new website where the models can be sold, but i fear that the results may be little different to what has been found here, but there really is no harm, in using as many sites as possible....hence.... why i still advise utilising the services of Ebid.
