    I like that.

I'm not surprised that UKIP supporters figured so high in the graph; leaving the EU being the prime reason for the existence of the party and why people shifted to them.

Saddest thing is, whatever the result tomorrow we are still stuck with our political class. Useless, spineless, pathetic bunch all of them.

    Kahn:
There's no going back if we vote to leave.
Equally, there's no getting out if we vote to remain.

Two questions... For whoever is still keeping up...

    1) If the result is: Scotland=In, England=Out, UK=In what on earth will happen going forward?
    2) If the result is a narrow in: Is that the question settled (maybe even for a generation ), or will it come back again?

    1. Its a vote on the UK' s future. Scotland is a part of the UK as that is what Scots democratically voted for, the good and the bad, in their independence referendum. It's not a Pick & Mix union.

    2. Like Scottish independence the issue is never going to go away. The only difference is that we will never be allowed another say on leaving the EU - they won't allow that gaff to be made again.

    1) I'm thinking more beyond the referendum, more sort of EVEL, pesky Scots keeping us in the EU against our will etc. Will the politics become acrimonious (or more acrimonious)?

    2) Never say never, Farage and Johnson could be coalition partners at the next General Election for all we know.

some one talkin sense on uk trade outside eu

Markus Kerber, head of the highly influential BDI, which represents German industry, has said that his organisation will press politicians in Europe hard to make sure businesses in the UK and the EU retain full, equal access to each other's markets after ‪#‎Brexit‬. Anything less would threaten jobs on both sides and serve no-one – least of all the Eurozone, which is in desperate trouble.

This intervention, which confirms what Leave campaigners have being saying for a long time, is a huge game changer, and should reassure voters that British businesses have everything to gain and nothing to lose if we strike out from the EU as an independent, self-governing democracy with full powers to enhance our trading opportunities worldwide.

    1. The numbers don't add up to lay the blame on the Scots alone for the result. Whichever side loses failed to persuade enough English voters. That's not to say that blame will not be cast, regardless. Personally, I think I'll blame the Gibraltans if it is a narrow loss.

    2. You are assuming that we will have the power to vote them in or call a referendum again. If the vote is Remain then Cameron will sell the country out before he goes and mechanisms will be in place to prevent the question being raised again. The EU will also by then have control of the members intelligence, security, and military forces so any civil action will be squashed.

They are as bad as we have now. That's our biggest problem, we have no real statesmen left in the country. That's one reason I don't understand why some are foolishly intending to vote based on personalities; they are all as bad as each other.
