Newly arrived and all ready needing help

Morning all , sorry to trouble you so quickly
escaped from the dark side today , registration went fine.
Activated account from email.
Eventually got logged in, had a few problems bit im in now :-)
My user name has line through it , am I going to be banned allready ?
Also I need to change the password to something I'll remeber but when I click on personal details it takes me back to log in screen and then wont accept password?
What am I doing wrong ??
